Congregation work

Skálholt Prestacall consists of 8 parishes with 12 churches. A large and diverse group of people live in the priesthood who participate in the congregation's work.

The guest room is the seat for congregation activities. There are facilities for the choir, children's work and the organist's office. Confirmation education takes place there and church coffee is offered after mass.

Confirmation education

Confirmation work is always in the hands of the parish priest. You can register children who will be born this year with the parish priest at the email address axel.arnason@kirkjan.is

Loading work begins in the fall.

Children's activies

Bergthóra Ragnarsdóttir, deacon candidate, supervises the children activity in Skálholt presbytery. Family services are every other Sunday at 11:00 in Skálholt church.
