Bjarni Harðarsson leads a walk around Skálholtstaður on Wednesday, May 22 at 18:00 - Gather at the church and walk around Skálholtstaður and review the history and historical figures of Skálholtstaður. Bjarni Harðar is a well-known storyteller, but he knows the history of Skálholtstaðir very well.

About the event
Bjarni will tell stories related to the history and characters of Skálholtstaðar. Old legends, legends and accounts of supernatural events in Skálholt will be reviewed. We will walk through areas known for stories, legends and hair-raising events. The memorial stone for the execution of Jón Arason and his sons will be visited, entered into Þorláksbúd, through the underpasses and told various stories about events from the past and present that have happened in Skálholt.
Admission is free and you are all welcome.
The restaurant Hvönn will be open and ideal to have refreshments there in connection with the walk.
