Dear Leitourgia Friends.
The Board announces the happy news that the Conference for 2021 will be held in Skalholt, Iceland 1.- 4. November. Skalholt is the historical bishop‘s site, now a conference- and retreat center of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The Registration opens August 15th until October 1st.
Main Theme: Arctic Liturgy – today and tomorrow / Arktisk liturgi – i dag og i morgen.
Key Speakers:
Marion Grau, Norway; Professor of Systematic Theology, Ecumenism and Missiology
Sólveig Anna Bóasdóttir, Iceland; Professor of Theological Ethics
Sigríður Guðmarsdóttir; Iceland, Assistant Professor of Practical Theology.
The programm will also include a tour to the historical place Thingvellir and some secret treasures in the surrounding of Skalholt, as well as work in Seminar groups and Leitourgia‘s Årsmöte.
The Conference starts in Hallgrims Church in Reykjavik at 5 p.m. Monday 1st November and ends in Skalholt Thursday afternoon November 4th.
Participants can fly in on Monday and leave Thursday evening flight, Friday early flight or later.
Accommodation and food: Invoice will be paid in Skálholt with a card.

Styret for Leitourgia er glade for å gjøre kjent at årskonferansen 2021 vil finne sted på Skalholt i Island fra 1. – 4. november. Samlingen er lagt til Islands historiske bispesete på Skalholt som i dag tjener som Den evangeliske-lutherske kirkes konferansesenter.
Påmeldingen er åpen i perioden 15. august til 1. oktober.
Tema for konferansen er: Arctic Liturgy – today and tomorrow / Arktisk liturgi – i dag og i morgen.

Marion Grau, Norge: Professor i systematisk theology, økumenikk and missiologi.
Sólveig Anna Bóasdóttir, Island: Professor i teologisk etikk.
Sigríður Guðmarsdóttir; Island, Førsteamanuensis i praktisk teologi
Programmet inkluderer også en tur til det historiske stedet, Thingvellir, inkludert noen skjulte perler nær Skalholt. Seminargrupper og årsmøte er også viktige poster i programmet.
Konferansen innledes i Hallgrimskirken i Reykjavik mandag 1. november kl. 17.00 og avsluttes på Skalholt om ettermiddagen torsdag 4. november. Konferansedeltakerne kan ankomme Island mandag og dra tilbake med fly fredag morgen – eller senere. Mer praktisk informasjon og opplysninger priser vil vi om kort tid komme tilbake til.

Artic Liturgy – Today and tomorrow
Arktisk Liturgi i dag og i morgen.
We will explore from the roots of Christianity in Iceland the today’s liturgy and our liturgy for the future. The challenge and joy of living in the nordic countries and the arctic inculturation in worship.
Monday 1. November
Arrival of the participants to Reykjavik during the day.
Flybus goes from Keflavik Airport to Bus Terminal BSÍ. Walking distance to Hallgrímskirkja 8-10 minutes. Luggage can be stored at Hallgrimskirkja.
17.00 - Opening of Leitourgia 2021
Welcoming speech and a short organ concert
17.40 – Bus (with luggage) from the church to Bergstadastræti 75.
