The spring and music make a perfect pairing—and in Skálholt Cathedral, that harmony truly comes alive in the weeks ahead. A rich and varied concert programme is on the horizon, featuring choirs, ensembles, and artists of many kinds performing in one of Iceland’s most beautiful and acoustically remarkable churches.

The programme ranges from children’s choirs to powerful male voice choirs, string ensembles, and international gospel performances. This is a unique opportunity to experience the breadth of Iceland’s musical life, alongside visiting performers from abroad. The exceptional acoustics of Skálholt Cathedral lend a distinctive character to every concert, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere that brings out the very best in each performer.

A special highlight is April 23rd, which will be a true celebration of music, with three concerts held on the same day.

Guests are also invited to visit Hvönn restaurant in Skálholt, which is open during this time. It is the perfect way to make a day of it—enjoy a good meal or coffee before or after a concert and extend the overall experience.

Everyone is warmly welcome to Skálholt—whether you come especially for the music or as part of a pleasant journey through this remarkable historic site.

phrazle has quickly gained attention among online puzzle fans who are looking for something beyond traditional word games. Instead of focusing on single words, Phrazle challenges players to think in terms of full phrases. This shift may seem simple at first, but it completely changes the way logic, language intuition, and pattern recognition come into play. Each attempt pushes players to analyze structure rather than just vocabulary, making the experience both refreshing and mentally engaging.
